Since we last updated our news page, we have been as far East as Malaysia then as far West as Texas USA. In between those two points, we have travelled all over the world delivering just under 280 events in 2008 alone.

With an eye on event costs this year, we saw a big rise in our Boomwhacker events. As you only need one facilitator to run this activity; it is perfect for entertaining any size conference, with no set up time needed and with little budget impact.
Boomwhackers is such a colourful and fun event; the Boomwhacker sound is so melodic, and they are the perfect alternative if the venue has any noise issues with drumming!

Clients looking for a great surprise at their Christmas party took full advantage of DrumPulse; being able to totally theme their dinning room, and provide our after dinner Crashing Waiter activity. This was, as ever, a huge hit and the perfect way to flow from dining to dancing!
Waiters, Maitre 'D' and Chef suddenly appear playing everything but the kitchen sink, then the diners become a kitchen utensil orchestra!

Our first trip to Latvia with Ernst & Young went really well, and when the clients were told that the drums they were using were actually gifts for them to take home... they were ecstatic!
These drums are the perfect conference gift and what a reminder of the day. It also serves to cut costs on transport to far away places.

How do you get 50 oil tanker captains from all over the globe to learn, work and perform together? Over a three day conference we created a drumming performance group. The surprise goal was...they all would do an evening performance for their stunned families sitting in the audience!
This was great cultural diversity aligned through playing music.

As one of the very few event companies that have a team of authentic Maori Haka leaders, the experience they give cannot be replicated. For authenticity, true passion and source of the Haka, don’t suffer imitations.
Our Haka workshops have been the huge hit this year. Always entertaining, they are also a perfect team activity for highlighting business messages.

Another new event for DrumPulse using the UKs only proffessional Didgeridoo artist. Teams not only learned this ancient art together and had a lot of fun; they got to keep their instrument to take home!

As part of a week long, small group communication course in Germany, we began delivering a totally new approach to leadership communication.
By using the conducting of music as a metaphor, we can analyse our personal impact on a situation and the people involved. This course has now been rolled out to the entire company’s senior management which should continue for another three years.

600 stunned delegates first met our Maori Haka masters for an amazing surprise ice breaker. Everyone was then face painted and ready to roar the roof off, we then closed the conference with a huge Drumming finale. That evening we totally themed the dining room into a jungle complete with Zulu dancers, Fire Jugglers and Wandering Gorillas!!

DrumPulse Head facilitator and Remo Artist Mark Hunter thwarted the rain at the annual percussion festival on the South Bank. A fantastic crowd of over 300 still eagerly awaited the boundless energy of the DrumPulse team.
Singing legend Lulu was in the audience, in the past DrumPulse have also welcomed Britney Spears into one of their teambuilding events.
Who says drumming isn’t glamorous? |

In the last of a series of three conference finales over Europe, we received a stunning reaction from our Russian participants.
Corporate activities such as drumming are relatively undiscovered in Russia but that did not deter everyone from seizing this new experience and creating an unforgettable day. |

Drumpulse were proud to have been asked to bring the celebrations to a climax with their ‘Clap Happy’ finale. 500 delegates looked under their seat to find pairs of brightly coloured rubber gloves. Within minutes, our team had everyone on their feet, we were then surrounded by a sea of colour as the room was in full swing.
Big Brother’s Davina McCall left after delivering her keynote speech earlier; Davina in rubber gloves- now what a photograph that would have been. |

Organisers were keen for DrumPulse to lead a percussion workshop this year. The day started with a live demonstration and interview on BBC Radio Berkshire, we later had fantastic fun with all the participants and the general public that came to watch. |

A morning wake up like no other a Haka session with our Maori warriors! The QE2 conference centre in London shuddered with the sound of almost a thousand people watching, quickly learning and performing the ancient Maori ritual together. This was only the beginning. When the group reconvened after lunch they found a drum on every seat. Within seconds they embarked on a hours drumming session to end the conference on a high. |

We were honoured to be asked to provide something completely different to celebrate this important Hindu festival. We had over 400 people participating in an after dinner drum event, sending fantastic rhythms into the North London night sky. |
